There are about 600 km (around 400 miles) of beach, one more beautiful than the other and seeing is believing.
As Brazil is a continental country and so Ceará may appear small on the map, but it is in fact around the size of Greece.
It certainly is a giant in coastal beauty! There are about 600 km of beach, one more beautiful than the other and seeing is believing. It starts in the capital of Fortaleza, which has some of the most pleasant city beaches in all of Brazil. To its east, a succession of beaches marked by multicolored cliffs, where the main highlight is the village of Canoa Quebrada.
From east to west, the state enchants all!
But it is on the west side, or the coast of the setting sun as it is also known, that we find ourselves dazzled among dunes, lagoons and beaches that can only be described as paradise.
In Caucaia, a city neighboring Fortaleza, the beauty all ready begins. At the beach of Icaraí, you can find good surf, and Pacheco beach is an invitation to take a rest. Then soon after you will reach the jewel of Cumbuco, a kitesurfing paradise!

Simply breathtaking views of the smooth, warm, emerald green seas, are a heavenly view from the top of the dunes where you can go adventuring on a beach buggy ride to make the landscape even more exuberant and inviting.
There are miles and miles of great beauty that continue to the delta of the Paraíba River, a true wonder of nature. But before you arrive there, you will pass through another precious rock, the world-renowned Jericoacoara beach.
