A paradise for water sports.
We have the perfect setting and conditions for surfing, windsurfing, canoeing, sailing, wakeboarding, bodyboarding, flyboarding, snorkeling and all other manor of water sports on the beaches of Cumbuco and Icarai. These are 2 small beach towns that are just a few kilometers from the center of Fortaleza. There is even sandboarding in the dunes!
A state of champions
Ceará is also a reference in countless other sports, it has two teams competing in the premier league of national soccer, with several stadiums and fields for training. It also has a prominent team in Brazilian basketball. As well as this, there are several quality facilities for the practice of the more distinguished sports such as: tennis, beach tennis, squash, volleyball, beach volleyball, handball, indoor and outdoor soccer, athletics, weight training and even all the elegance of equestrianism, with excellent conditions for horse riding, both on and off the beach.
